What To Expect

Why choose Workplace Allies

We’re committed to making reliable legal advice more accessible.

This means offering flexible fee arrangements, including low-cost or pro bono services for eligible clients.

Above all, you can expect to be treated with dignity, empathy, and professionalism by a team that puts people before profit.

Book an initial consultation

Workplace Allies offers fixed fee initial consultations, so you can understand your rights and make an informed decision about how to proceed.

Initial consultations cost $330.00, and include:

• time spent reviewing the relevant documentation and any research prior to the consultation;
• discussions with you and an exploration of strategies to resolve your matter; and
• follow up advice for questions taken on notice (if any).

Initial consultations are not time limited because it is important to us that you get your questions answered – however long that takes.

Undertaking further work

If you decide to engage Workplace Allies to undertake further work on your behalf, we’ll work with you to assess your options and develop a clear plan tailored to your situation.

You’ll be kept informed at every stage, with honest advice about the strengths and challenges of your case, the progression of your matter, and the likely cost of each step.

• Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people;
• members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer/questioning, and asexual community;
• individuals from diverse racial or ethnic backgrounds;
• workers under the age of 25 years old;
• workers over the age of 60 years old;

• workers engaged in low-paid, casual, gig or contract work.

For clients who identify as belonging to two or more of the above groups, the discount applicable to your professional fees will be 15%.
